CHICAGO — Burglars took an ATM from a Logan Square business overnight, according to Chicago police. The same group is also suspected of breaking into an Avondale currency exchange.

Officers responded to a business in the 2400 block of North Milwaukee after a burglar alarm was activated around 2:55 a.m. According to a CPD statement, they found the front door and glass broken and the ATM missing.

The business owner told police he saw three people exited a white sedan to commit the burglary.

About ten minutes before the break-in, a group of people broke the glass at Western-Elston Currency Exchange, 2802 North Western, according to a CPD report. It did not appear anything had been taken after an initial inspection of the property.
