CHICAGO — The FBI is offering up to $1,000 for information leading “directly to the arrest and conviction” of the man who robbed an armored car in Brighton Park earlier this month.

A Brinks technician was servicing an ATM at Huntington Bank, 4130 South Archer, when the robber pulled a gun on him around 7:30 a.m. on December 3, according to the FBI.

Chicago police officers at the scene said the man stole the technician’s firearm and between $50,000 and $90,000 in cash.

The FBI released surveillance images with its reward announcement on Thursday.

According to the agency, the robber is a Black male between 20 and 25 years old who stands 5’8″ to 5’9″ tall. He has a slight build and wore a black balaclava face covering, a shiny black puffer coat, black gloves, black pants, and black shoes.
