Chicago police detectives have issued photos of another group of people suspected of committing a violent robbery aboard the Red Line. One of the suspects bears a striking resemblance to a man who appeared in another CPD transit alert earlier this week.

In the latest release, police said the three people seen in the images above robbed a passenger around 6:45 p.m. on February 3. The incident began when one of them pushed the victim onto the 69th Street platform.

CPD said the victim got back on the train, and all three suspects fought him and stole his valuables. They escaped when the train arrived at 48th Street.

On Monday evening, CPD issued a “seeking to identify” bulletin featuring three men who robbed a passenger on a Red Line train near 63rd Street. That robbery also occurred on February 3, at 3:55 a.m., more than 12 hours before the second incident.

Police said the group seen in the pictures below “aggressively battered” the male victim and took his property by force.

Monday’s alert described the suspects as two Black males and a Hispanic male. While the latest alert did not include written descriptions of the suspects, they appear to be a Black female, a Black male, and a Hispanic male resembling the suspect in the earlier bulletin.

Transit detectives are handling both cases. They can be reached at 312-745-4447 regarding cases #JJ-136437 and JJ-137337.
