CHICAGO — A violent home invader attacked and sexually assaulted an 82-year-old woman inside her Auburn Gresham home on Wednesday evening, Chicago police said. It happened around 6:55 p.m. in the 1600 block of West 82nd Street.
The intruder crawled through a window and punched the woman in the face, causing her to fall, police said. He sexually assaulted the woman and then fled back out the window.
An ambulance team took the victim to Little Company of Mary Hospital for treatment and observation. CPD said she was in good condition.
