CHICAGO — In Logan Square, where many residents are already concerned about a serial rapist who remains on the loose, there is a new sexual predator to worry about: A man who sexually abused a woman as she walked along Armitage Avenue.

Chicago police released an artist’s sketch of the suspect on Thursday, but the attack occurred on January 14.

The woman was walking in the 3400 block of West Armitage around 9:30 a.m. when the man approached her from behind and sexually abused her, according to CPD. Sexual abuse charges typically involve groping or grabbing of a sexual nature.

Police said the man is Hispanic or Filipino, 20 to 30 years old, about 5’4” or 5’5” tall, and thin. He has black hair and may have an accent.

Area Five detectives are asking anyone with information about the suspect to contact them at 312-746-6554. Tips can also be submitted online at CPDTIP.com. The case number is JJ-114483.
