Chicago police on Friday released surveillance images of three people wanted for stabbing and robbing a man aboard a Red Line train at the 47th Street station on Thanksgiving morning, hoping the public can help identify those responsible for the attack.

The incident occurred around 11:24 a.m. Thursday, as the train approached 47th Street. Detectives said the group boarded the railcar and confronted a 48-year-old man, demanding his belongings. One of them pulled out a knife and a struggle erupted, leaving the victim with a stab wound to his back before the attackers fled with his property.

Paramedics took the man to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, according to CPD.

Police later recovered surveillance footage that captured the suspects as they moved through the station. Investigators said the images show:

  • A Black female wearing a pink bonnet, gray shirt, black hooded jacket, and black pants.
  • A Black male wearing a tan jacket and light-colored jeans.
  • A Black male wearing a red and gray hooded sweater.

Police said the crew ran off the train and was last seen heading east on 47th Street after leaving the station.
