THAT’S BETTER: After First Doing Nothing, City Zaps Gang Tags

After CWB Chicago reported large swaths of gang tags along the lakefront to the city for removal on July 16, the city closed our service requests out and marked them complete—even though they had done absolutely nothing.

We reported on the lack of effort over the weekend.

Now, we can happily report, the tags have been obliterated—painted over with a thick layer of beige paint.
