A pink-wigged woman is on the loose after she shot another woman during an altercation in the South Shore neighborhood on Saturday morning. Part of the incident was recorded by a resident’s doorbell camera.

Chicago police said a 30-year-old woman was in good condition after the offender shot her in the arm around 11:21 a.m. in the 2400 block of East 74th Street.

Surveillance footage tweeted by @heyFATabbot captured a loud argument on the street, with a woman wearing a pink wig being one of the primary participants.

In the video, she and another woman are seen yelling at someone off-camera for several seconds before the wigged woman charges down the sidewalk and fires a shot. She then leaves camera range, and a second shot is heard. Watch:

The victim drove herself to Jackson Park Hospital for treatment.

So far, CPD has not announced any arrests in connection with the case.
