CHICAGO — A crash-and-grab burglary crew slammed an SUV into a Northwest Side cannabis dispensary overnight. Chicago police officers who responded to the scene said it did not appear that the would-be thieves compromised the business’ secure area.
Cops responded to a burglar alarm at Cannabist, 4758 North Milwaukee, around 2:04 a.m. They found a Jeep, believed to be stolen, rammed through the storefront glass. No people were at the scene, and the dispensary’s interior section appeared untouched.
Area Five detectives are investigating the case.
