The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man who’s been stealing mail from residential buildings in Chicago’s West Loop and Fulton Market neighborhoods.

The agency released a wanted poster on Thursday featuring surveillance images of the man who is often accompanied by another man while stealing mail and packages from apartment buildings in the neighborhoods.

Postal inspectors said the pictured man is in his 30s, standing between 5’8” and 5’10” tall, with a dark complexion, a stocky build, and dreadlocks. His companion is also a Black male, believed to be in his late 20s, who shares a similar build and complexion and stands around 5’7” tall, according to the wanted poster.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the agency at 1-877-876-2455 and reference case number 4315597.

CWBChicago was created in 2013 by five residents of Wrigleyville and Boystown who had grown disheartened with inaccurate information that was being provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Our coverage area has expanded since then to cover Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side Areas.
