Woman carjacked in Old Town

Three men carjacked a woman at gunpoint in Old Town on Sunday evening, police said. No arrests have been made.

The victim, 26, was sitting in her SUV on the 200 block of West Scott when three men walked up to her car around 10:45 p.m., according to police. One of the men “placed a handgun to her face” and demanded the keys to her car, police said.

She complied and the offenders drove away with her silver 2003 Honda CR-V. The woman was not injured.

She said the carjackers are three black males who are all about 6-feet tall. One wore a gray hoodie, one wore a black hoodie, and one wore a red hoodie, the woman said.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
