Lincoln Park bank robbed Friday afternoon

Chicago police and the FBI are looking for the man who robbed a Lincoln Park bank Friday afternoon.

The man entered Fifth Third Bank, 2401 North Halsted around 3:40 p.m., and presented a note that demanded money and claimed he was armed with a gun, according to a CPD report. He collected about $1,000 and fled eastbound on Fullerton.

According to witnesses and surveillance images, the robber is between 50- and 60-years-old, about 6’3″ tall, 180 pounds, and has scarring on his face. He has blue eyes and wore a blue and white-striped shirt with dark pants.
